Bonsai Clone Mother Fail

I had 4 clones in my Bonsai mother area were doing ok then I noticed the 25W led I had them under was not plugged into a timer so it ran 24/7 for a few weeks. I set it up at 16/8 and 2 weeks later they have all flowered. lol. I may let them grow just for fun but I think I will abandon the bonsai mother idea. Its kind of a pain in the ass for a small time grower like me, a full grown mother will work for me.

       I usually keep a Mother around long enough for a few cycles of clones. (4-6)

      Other than topping for the next Mother, I try to cut all my clones from the bottom of the plant, so when I'm done, she's lollipopped, and ready for flower.

       I always figured the Bonsais you buy are expensive, because they're a helluva lotta work. Didn't translate to weed well for me.

      • I agree, a normal size clone mother is not too much work, the little ones are work, I was just trying to save a little space. The other reason I am stopping is I have lost the genetics of a few good strains but I always managed to find another one to fill in the gap.
