    • They can last 10 plus years in the fridge, And You can freeze them once an they'll be good till your rdy to use them But i wouldn't freeze them more than one time, it'll drop there germination rate if you do.

        • like others mentioned..if kept in cool dark dry places they keep for years...i have seeds ive made in my collection back to 2014,,,just poped a couple recently for one my side projects and they doin well...just because they didnt pop doesnt mean they not viable..lot of time its the shell casing being hard...sometimes ya have to help em out..use some sand paper or an emery board for nails to skuff em up so moisture can get in to make em pop open..sometime when ya have some that wont pop..before u toss em..break em open see if theres white inside seed..that will tell ya if it WAS good and may have needed help...GL

          • I have some Misty Kush seeds from 5 years ago that I want to pop and compare to the Misty Kush they sell today to see how of a difference changing the parents made.  I think phenotypes an easy out for explaining seed mix ups until an auto gets in there.

          • They grew corn they found in Mesa Verde that they figured was about 1200 years old and they popped seeds they found in a Mastodons stomach that was frozen in ice for a few million years. If you dont have that then I store them in a prescription bottle in the freezer or fridge and I have popped them after 7 years.

Like ChAs420 said, you can nick them or sand them a to thin out the shell a little to give them some help. If your a butter fingers like me  you line the inside of a matchbox with sand paper drop the seed in there and shake it around. Soaking them in water for 24 hours can help too.
