morning guys how many do u top your plants when u do a scrog ???

i top several times to give side branches time to catch up to help even out the canopy as much as possible.

on my last SCRoG i only topped once and took many leaf down as well as smaller side growth before it got too unruly. I will need to trim my current SCRoG soon. I can feel the plant wanting to grow up and pushing against the cage but i keep tuckin 'er down or use a bamboo. I plan to fill my net up nearly 75% if i can but ive got a way to go

i see alot of people use a SCRoG net only during flower and some use it as a training device during veg. to spread the plant out. Thats what i want... a 3 foot wide, plant that is 12" inches high! either way is cool if it helps. im new to this!

Not to sound like a SCROG Nazi but a true SCROG is topped once or twice and those 2 or 4 mains and the branches coming off those mains get woven or tied down into the net and all the branches under the net other than the mains are removed.

Look at the not a SCROG example.
That said, its your seed, so grow it how every you want, but I think if your using the net for support you may be missing out on some of the benefit of having everything running through the mains..
