What imput is there about misting in the vegetative stage? Do they enjoy a nice light refreshing shower now and then? :)

    • yes in vegetation plants respond real well to a foliar spray. alot of people like to use a mild calmag solution or even Epsom salt solution. you probably want to do this when lights are off

It creates instance humidity too, and plants love that.  The key is to spray ID weed with a type nozzle that can spray with little velocity and good size droplets. If you don't have a water faucet near by, here's how you can do it. Get a 5 gal bucket, fill it 3/4 full with whatever water you are using. If you fill it all the way, water will spill out when you put in your pump.  Now put a small submersible water pump in the bucket and attach a short hose with a nozzle on the end to the pump. I like the short wand nozzles that have several settings, and you can control the velocity too. Plug her in and your in BINNIS ! You can also mix nutes with this set up. Once you get it figured out, it's the next best thing to an automated system. It's very portable too !! Got a little off track I'm pretty stoned. TIP... if you set this type of system up, get a off/on switch for the pump power cord, I like the ones that have a red light on when in the on position. This will enable you to turn the system off and on easily !! Peace  Oh yeah, This system is great for mixing nutes too!  You can stick the nozzle end of the wand into your bucket, with your water, this will recirculate the water and your nutes. Now you ready to water, feed, spray ...whatever ! Peace

        • Ok, info! I just started out with my first indoor crop ever with10 autos on a screen set up. I think I'm doing ok but six out of ten are looking a little lighter green than the others and two quite yellow with brown tips. All are planted in Fox Farm's "Strawberry Fields" blend. Running T-5 lighs at about 2-4" up, on 24/7. Feeding with Neptune.

            • Plants love it but sadly one of the cruel tricks of nature is they love it most in flower when they are at the highest risk of mold so I stop 2 weeks after the flip or sooner if I see a lot of pistils. Its generally best to spray the bottom sides of the leaves thats where their mouths are at, lol.
