we sometimes fill them with spiced minced meat and then top it off with cheese (in the oven)

i like 2 let them get just a little larger will the skin is steal very tender and steam them butter salt and enjoy .......

Mmmm , sounds good to me. I’ve seen these before , but not familiar as a regular summer veggie around here.

recently had dinner at the Lazy Bear in SF they took and filled the blossoms with a variety of hard cheeses and lightly breaded them in panco, fried them, then topped them with winter truffle.

Looks very healthy. I didn't plant any pattypans this year...just yellow straight neck. Been a great season so far.
