I know placing a seedling right into flower normally doesn’t end well. I just popped two more snowman seeds same time I’m ready to flip. My question is: What’s the age of the youngest plant you successfully flowered?
I took a plant and flipped it as soon as it had it's first set of leaves (3 prong) because I really wanted to try the strain and I already had a plant that I was getting ready to flower. It went surprisingly well and I got a lot more weed than I thought I would get. I am not sure exactly how long it was above ground but don't the first set of leaves kinda start the clock on veg time? If so then it went straight into flowering after being a seedling.
good morning Hulk i have done it n 6 to 8 weeks i have done it twice ... while n veg they need 2 stay very happy .... that's n a soilless medium ... i tried flowering earlier than that waz not good 4 me ..
Hulkster the word success is relative, he,he,he...TBS 2-3 weeks n veg will create enough growth for prob 1 main bud with smaller side buds to total 1/2 z per plant. The quality will be good though, strain dependent. Plant support will be needed too . GL
No worries Chubby! I think you probably hit it on the head with your estimate of a half ounce. I really wanted to try candy kush but didn't want to wait so I started it on the side of my grow room and flipped it almost immediately. I am going to look back at my pics and see if I took a picture. It was kinda cool because it stretched like a son of a bitch and got much bigger than I figured it would. If I remember correctly the entire plant was one main cola for the most part.
Good deal thanks Chubbs, don’t know anyone that would stick there nose up at an extra ounce of good smoke I transplanted 2 of the bigger ones I started first out of fear of being root bound glad I did also thankfull for your advice to top I wasn’t going to because it’s a SOG but very happy I did in fact I did them all twice. Thank you Sir…
