Can anyone tell me what the difference is between FF ocean forest and FF happy frog? Is one nutrient hotter than the other? Any info helps. Thanks!

just ask the lady at the store about that and she said that ocean had a higher nutrient value. if you have bigger plants they will do great, smaller should start in Happy frog though she had to say that you can use both for whatever you wished this is what I got from the conversation.

Ocean Forest is hotter, it has more N. I use Happy Frog for seedlings and then transplant to OF. That said I am not much of a soil grower,

Mark and CPW have you covered! When I grew in soil I had tried both. Imo the happy frog is what I liked the most for no other reason but not worrying about adding nutrients and possibly burning the plants but both are very good. Check into ff coco loco. It is a step above soil but not straight coco.

i dont grow i soil but ive sold tons of Foxfarm (literally) and ive heard just as many users say that Ocean Forest never gave them any problems as have said that it is too hot. I know a few things about Ocean Forest. first off it is chocked full of nutrients. Crab meal, shrimp meal, fish emulsion, bat guano, Humic acid, fulvic acid, oyster shells for aeration... so it is JACKED with nutrients.
Nevertheless if you look right on the bag it states that it is fine for seedlings
