pH issues in second week of flower please help

Have 11 Jelly Pie clones in week two of flowering. Got them in 3 gallon containers in Sunshine Mix #4 advanced and using Emerald Harvest Cali Pro bloom A and B along with Power Si and some additional general hydroponics Calimagic. Was adjusting my pH at 6.3 during veg and all was going well. Testing runoff and several of them are near 7 and starting to show signs of lockout. My question is should I attempt to flush them? If so at what pH should I run plain water through at? If not any other advice should I wait a bit and try lowering the pH to 5.5 to see if I can bring it down?

My girls in promix in the 4x4 that are getting the same treatment as the others are showing no such signs and look excellent.  Please if you have any advice or know anything about sunshine mix please any advice is welcome.

Please help me salvage these girls it's been a rough year and I could use a decent harvest. Thanks and much love ❤

    • Just watered these ladies the day before yesterday with some rootwise dynamics bio phos and enzyme blend. They were all praying yesterday, but already looking sad and I am not sure whether it's because they need water and feed already but ideally I'd like to wait til tomorrow or if it's because they are stressed from pH issues as a couple of them as I stated above the run off was reading near 7 so I'm at a loss as to whether I should try and flush the media at this point or to just feed at a lower pH and hope it works itself out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated fam ❤

      • I am not a soil grower but I dont see a PH issue, the leaves in front look fine but the ones in back look either over or under watered because they are drooping.

        • Not sure if these photos give a better perspective but the tips got that bit whiting yellow point and can see a bit more of the discoloration after removing one of the leaves for a closer up shot.

          • The bag says Sunshine Mix #4 is coco coir so absolutely not on lowering your PH to 5.5 or they will get more jaundice. I keep my PH at 6.0 -6.2 and it works for me, so go a little lower and some a little higher. The healthier the roots the less PH matters but its best to dial it in,

Is your media drying out? Over watering and underwatering will both cause the leaves to look droopy like they do in the back. Coco coir is hydro so keeping it wet is important, my coco grows get watered 3 times a day and over watering coco is almost impossible.

Coco/Hydro also needs more cal/mag than soil

          • The plants look really good other than a bit over watered. From what I can see in all the pictures I can find any issues that you are talking about. Honestly I would back off on the water on the plants that look wilted and keep on trucking.

            • I'll likely have to keep them in the 3 gallon containers they are in recycled plastic containers and I don't have enough 5 gallons to do a transfer. Though I may go pick some up tomorrow and consider doing it on Sunday or Monday. Otherwise I'm just gonna have to really make they stay adequately watered

              • Very true! It is hard to over water with coco.

                • Really good call! A plant that size in coco is really going to have a large root ball by this time.

                • Diz, can you look at the roots ? Are they root bound ? That's a hell of a canopy. Sunshine mixes are quality stuff. No mistakes NOW !! If the tent pic up top are the plants in question you're good. Maybe a issue with gettin water and nutes to the roots. Test everything...startin at your water. Peace

                  • One of my fears was that I had let them veg for too long in the 3 gallon containers I had meant to flip them much sooner but gave my girls in the 4x4 some time to catch up and in doing so they very well could be root bound. I'm not sure if transplanting on day 13 of flower would cause any problems or be beneficial. At this point I may just let it ride out I'm not sure yet. Thanks for the input though it's much appreciated

                  • The plants will take a transplanting OK if they're RB . It's early enough to do it, and it shouldn't affect the flowering. If they're RB, you will be fighting the growth all the way thru flowering. Be gently ! GL

                    • RB is root bound?

                    • By 13 days of flower you mean 13 days from the flip to 12/12 right? I dont see any actual signs of flower in that picture.

Set up a simple auto feed system, plants in coco love it. When I was hand feeding in coco the plants in 7 gallon bags would get about 1/2 a gallon of feed mix everyday with little or no run off.

                      • Root bound RB . .

                        • Sunshine mixes can get so RB that water and nutes will run right off. They almost get impenetrable. Auto feed might help a little, but I would go spend some $ and get ya some 7gal containers ! Do it ! Peace
