    • I have one and I am on the 2nd set of wet trim blades but I will probably sharpen them myself from now on. You have to buy the replacement blades as a set of 3, one for wet trim and 2 for dry and it annoys me you cant buy just the ones you need. I dont quite understand why the dry trim blades are serrated and the wet trim blades are straight. I do know a serrated edge is better for a rough cut but I dont know how that plays into it.  I can also say the top domes on top are not dishwasher safe with the dry cycle on.

        • At least 10 lbs, probably more depending on how much you pre-trim.

        • I still have yet to replace my blades but to be honest with you, if I do use it, it's for small popcorn buds. It kind of kills me to chop up prized buds in that thing and I'm sure you've seen the loss of tricomes on the bottom of that bowl. I'd rather keep them on my buds.

If you want them blades to last longer try and keep large stems out of there and make sure you clean your blades good when your done.

          • Sorry for the loss Pipes, what were their names. LOL. That reminded me of an old racial joke about the Titanic.

              • I’ve probably run 4 lbs of Devils lettuce through my bowl trimmer with the same wet trim blade. Sill works great.

                • I just got a 19 inch bowl trimmer the extra blades come in a set of 4, 2 are serrated and 2 are smooth. The replacement blades cost $22.00 for the 4 on Amazon. I didn't want to find out the hard way how long they last.
