Ok I'm not going to let this site go the way of all other forums on the internet without saying something. My concern is with Mikeg300 avatar. It is clearly sending a message of discourse & non inclusiveness. I personally think it breaks the code of conduct for this site!

He's not spamming anyone. not selling anything. Merely letting people know where he stands on certain issues. This isn't a political forum, for sure. But he's made no political comments.
While I'm not a Republican, the other 3 apply to me. And what's so offensive about being a Republican? They've done a lot for our country through its history.

I don't recall saying anything about a Republican...So don't put words in my mouth...and I don't want them to go anywhere. Don't want to run em off either. But be respectful of all people, white ,black, gay, straight ect...

That was me and I took it down because I realized it was a mistake and would just add fuel to the flame that shouldn't be burning at all.

I wouldn't expect a civil response from someone that would use that as an avatar. I bet it would go over like a terd in a punch bowl! And it could be someone from the past just stirring the pot. I might be just like them, but this isn't the place to display it, or promote it.

I just saw it and I agree, all of us who have been around a while have made a unwritten rule not to talk politics. I think it has worked well, it's actually a easy way to respect each other. We are here to spread our experience with growing weed and enjoy each other's company so I think it's best to leave politics out of this forum. Imo
