Cannibutter

I have about two lbs of trim in my freezer. How do i go about making cannibutter?

    • probably the best thing you can do is go to growweedeasy.coom on the canna butter. read up on decarboxylation. also dont over cook the butter/oil! if you cook it for too long it can be a dud and not very potent.

      I would say to cook the trim and oil/butter (and i recommend coconut oil) for 250 degrees for no more than 30 minutes.

      as i said there is alot of important information on growweedeasy.com. dont cook it for 4 hours in a crockpot! it will suck

        • one other thing to consider when making your butter is that the herb will decarboxylate while you are making your brownies or cakes. thats why i say to not over cook it

                  • unfortunately anything edible puts me in a bad state of mind...I know sounds weird but yea last time I said fk it was so bad...

                      • If you just want to make canna oil and decarb it too, here's how it's done. Saturate your frozen weed with a solvent, I use ethanol, that's also been in the freezer for 24 hrs, for about 5 minutes. Then filter the liquid mixture thru a coffee filter, into a vessel or pan. Evaporate the solvent off, using a hot pad or electric skillet, at no more than 160 F. It's best if you use water as a double boiler effect, to buffer the direct heat to the mixture. I  add about 1 inch of water to an electric skillet. Check the water level every so often and add as needed. Do this till most of the bubbles are gone from the mixture. Now to decarb, up the heat to no more than 220 F for 1 hour. You will now have a canna infused oil, that you can use for any kind of edibles that's completely decarbed !!! Now you can make cannabutter using coconut oil, or just work with the decarbed oil. Here's some good to know info concerning the infusion and decarbing process. 1. 90 % of the terps and cannabinoids will be available in the oil, after decarbing. 2. 60% will be available after infused into the butter. For dosage here's an example : 10 gm of flower@ 20% THC=2000mg THC, after decarb it =1800mg THC, and after making cannabutter it = 1080mg THC . I make my butter kinda strong, so I add 30 gms of oil to 1 cup of butter. You can make it however strong you want. Peace
