  • ChAs & Spiderdog have good answers. in the past I cut a paper plate to the middle and slide that over the branch I want to make pollen from, turn off the fans and spray the nodes on that branch. The stressful part for me is when do I cut the branch off the plant, too soon and the pollen wont finish or make good seeds, too late and the whole plant gets pollenated.

Now I have a 2 X 2 X 4 tent I do the breeding in and its a lot less stressful. Since they make pollen fairly quickly after the flip I think you could root and CS a clone in seedling dome and collect the pollen at a safe distance from your main grow area

    • That is exactly what is going through my mind as far as the right time to harvest the pollen. Thx CPW!

      • You can put plastic bags over them ahead of time but that usually makes humidity in the bag and I think water sterilizes the pollen so be carful of that. I was cutting the branches a week before I thought they were getting close to opening and putting the cutting in a glass of water to let it finish but I think letting them finish on the plant is much better.
