  • Well the energy monster is coming out today.this is a nice setup just hard on the power bill draws over 850 watts.i am thinking about maybe gifting it to someone maybe just starting or anyone not worried about the power bill.we see soon if anyone on WP if maybe know someone idky

        When I switched to LEDs, I took down a 2000 watt hps setup, cooltubes, fan, ducting.

        Now it's all in a closet. lol  My wife wants me to sell it, but it's kinda like an old friend.

        I hate to part with it, even tho I'll never use it again.

        LEDs definitely cleaned up the top half of my grow room.

        • I probably couldn’t afford to run anything but LED’s I am still what u consider a new grower less than 10 years of truly growing so only know the LED’s but have a lot of respect for growers who adapt to new shizz

        • It pulls 850 watts @ 100%...Mine pulls 470 watts @ 100%...@ 32" above canopy the most I can run mine is round 75% to 80%...& that is round 800 to 900 ppfd, which is maximum ppfd in flower unless you are running c02...I doubt you will have to run anywhere close to 100%...

          • I agree with you Rick. It depends on your coverage too the closer you are to the canopy the weaker the coverage. I don’t use a tent so I have plenty of height room so at 27” above canopy at 100% I reach my 1000 PPFD and 850 on the edges of 5x5 space at 16” I have to dim it to 70% because it draws 860 at 100% but then the comers drop to 5-600 PPFD.
