phosphorus deficiency
if a phosphorus deficiency can have a calcium deficiency along with it can a calcium deficiency also have a phosphorus deficiency with it how do u know which one is the root of the problem ????

To much P can bind with Ca causing Ca a deficiency, and too much Ca can cause poor absorption of P causing symptoms of P deficiency . These two elements work together and need to be in balance. Other than a soil test, I'm not sure how you could determine what the cause of either deficiency is. It's to early to think this much...he,he,he0 0 0 0 0 0 0-

I agree with Chubby, its kind of a cruel joke how the nutrients get absorbed and one can lock another out. If you really want to know you can check the PH of the sap but the PH tester is $200.

Good stuff here. I wonder if it’s more times than not a phosphorus deficiency is soil isn’t used? You can also tell if it’s a calcium deficiency if the stalk is brownish color

Phosphorus P doesn't leach out of soil, or soilless mixes as fast as N and K does. Purple petioles also are symptoms of P deficiency. P deficiency is pretty rare.
