Funny story, I took the truck in a week ago to have the flex plate replaced, apparently that is what the kids are calling flywheels these days. 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 with less than 70,000 miles. Anyway, I called yesterday and they were still waiting on parts, today I took my wife to work and when we got home the truck was siting in the driveway. They finished it today and came by with it to put the plow on but it was blocked in by my wife's Versa. 6 Acres and I found the one spot to put it to block the plow. So tomorrow my wife and I will put it on but the minute exchange ended after about the 3rd tree I hit with it,

Nope not a pressure plate, this is an automatic transmission and according to what I found on Google its the same as what I would call a flywheel. It has a ring gear that the starter pinion engages to start the motor and it attaches to the crankshaft and the transmission so its a primary transfer source. To be honest I ended my shade tree mechanics when they started with Electronic Ignition

Actually Hulk its a Dry Cold so its not so bad, reminds me of San Diego and Ensenada, not at all.
