A Schwazzing I did go

Only being able to upload one picture to a post or a question sucks, is it me doing something wrong or is it a flaw in the site?

Anyway, you will have to search for the photos I uploaded but these are 2 plants I Schwazzed the 2nd time on day 20 after the flip, the first time was the day of. The other pictures are 16 days later. Hopefully they wont hermi but I think some one on here said dont go at it like a wimp so the challenge was accepted.

        general saying: when defoliating :  the space you are defoliating has to be twice the size of the leaf you defoliate.

        • I hope the saying came with illustration because that makes no sense to me. The current grow I have going I am leaving about one small leaf per bud site and leaving more full size fan leaves at the bottom to collect light since they are not blocking anything. So far they are stacking up very nicely

          I think it means the defoled leaf must let in light, that is twice the surface area of the leaf being removed .

          • How can anything allow more light in than its own area? Still dont get it, of course removing a leaf will let more light in. I think your trying to teach a pig to sing with me on this one.

              Thanks CPW... my take on Air's post is probably wrong he,he,he  but it was based on the fact that light can travel further, and cover a greater area, when you defol. The angle of the dangle ! How much, who knows ?
