End of the experiment
After 2 weeks at 14/10 the plants in Flower in the Ebb & Flow show no sign of reveg and the plants in the RDWC show a little hint of flower. So my theory is 14/10 will cause them to flower slowly, sort of like plants seem to do outside and plants in flower wont reveg with the 2 extended hours of light at a reduced/low DLI so the only reason I can see to keep your lights on for longer amounts of time is if you cant get to the idea DLI at 12/12. I have to flip these all back to 12/12 because I am not sure if the plants in the RDWC are stretching or just growing and I really dont want them to stretch too much.
I am going to try this with an Autoflower some day and I bet if you can hit them with 40 DLi in 12 hours the rest of the time lights are on is waste or damaging to the plants.

The one in the grow room with the plants in flower was on 12/12 for a couple of weeks. The ones that are now in the RDWC were on 18/6. I think they would show solid signs of flower in another week if I left them on 14/10 but why spend the extra $ on electricity

There have been a lot of questions about extending lights on time in flower. I don’t think it’s worth the extra electricity bill if you can get the DLI up to 40.
Any idea where the 12/12 hours came from? By the time we get to 12/12 up here it’s December and cold
