Yanked these buds out of the LD/cold frame a week ago. They were in 12/12 for around 10 weeks This heat wave was really too much for them. Record, sustained heat. My trimmin philosophy has also changed. I do a 60% trim after a week or so drying, and then let them cure, and do a final clean trim later. That's why they look so scruffy. It's a great feelin when the weed you grow gets you real high !!

Were they ready to harvest or they couldn't stand the heat and had to get out of the hot box? As least its not bud rot, I hate that

Yeah, they were ready, but slowed way down due to the heat.

i dont mind a rough trim on my weed. smoking a little sugar leaf mixed in kinda mellows the smoke out

Better safe then sorry at least you got a good 10 weeks in damn this heat it’s been brutal. Nice bush and agree it’s one of the most satisfying feeling burning your own shizz
