Comments From Peanut Gallery on RO Systems
So with every one of my runs I want to try something new and try to make each go better than the last. Ive been reading on RO systems and wondered how much of a difference this made for someone with not great city water. I also got a Bluelab Conductivity pen for my bday and figured why not... Looks like some systems can do 90 gallons in a day for fairly cheap. that's way more water than I'd need for the garden but nice to have some cleaner water around.
Miss you guys, haven't been able to keep up as much as I'd like. Work is wide open right now thankfully! Getting the outside veggie garden going too. Hope everyone is doing good!

i like the RO system myself. it strips everything out so you start with a clean slate and you know exactly what ppm of nutes you are feeding your plants.

Great question! we all try to outdo our last grow and become better!! we used an RO system when i was working at the local hydroponic store (not on weed) it would really only put out about 5-6 gallons per hour. thinking about it nw, it probably needed both filters replaced. The brand was Hydro-logic similar to this one but i think ours was a "200"

If I read something that convinced me it was way better than what I was using I might would try it...my tap ppm is 100 and I always distill it.
And yea I on the recovery side of the dreaded Rona virus...
Glad your work is doing well!!
