Auto pot III

I was unprepared for this grow.

these girls came on way too fast. They are supposed to finish this week according to breeder info, grow diaries, etc. 

still have them on 400ppm because they are showing signs of nute issues and slow growth. for hydro this is ridicules should be way  higher and it shows, but higher nutes started this in the first place! lockout? partial lockout? pH 5.8 400-450 ppm .7 EC coco, hydroton, perlite mix. I am stumped. this might be one of those types were a single part grow formula would be useful or necessary.

fun thing is it's way tiny buds are starting to color. too cute

going forward I think that feeding regular nutes top fed until roots establish should be a very lite feed with a rooter to boost root growth only. that's because the feed going down comes back up when the feed system comes on. read more carefully it's in the instructions. DOH!

so over feeding came from the nutes coming back through the media going in the up direction doubling the nutes.

they are looking better. did not want to flush since they are in flower, and it's a process and I'm lazy. they will be fine. might be a while more is all.

      • do u float your PH i use 5.6~6.1 if u don't there would b a window 2 a problem .....  2 cent ..

        • pH in the tank is steady at 5.8-5.9

          when I did the clear water rinse and checked pH of the run off it sat around 6.2 -3 Good solid numbers in the right places.

          they seem to carry a fickleness to them on the pH I am thinking. meaning they probably have a different desire as in pH level than what they are getting. so they are not as happy as they could be. Or could be back to initial fertigation, toxic shock sometimes lingers and they don't make it or they are like this, ornery and miss understood. Ha

          • what PH chart do u use 4 your high and low numbers ??  i use the same PH chart as coco and hydro just would like 2 know they r a lot better at this then i am ....

          • With a ph of 5.8 all nutrients are available! 400 ppm is low. They or it looks ok to me.

            • yea ramped it up to 550 but they immediately cringed so it's sitting at ~500 and they seem ok. in fact it is why I flushed and reset their feed, etc. this morning.

              Like King said "they are going to do what they want."
