Steps to take
What steps do i take to find out the sex of a plant and then place it back in veg to grow it out?

I will usually take a cutting and start to root the cutting under 12/12 light, then I will put the cutting back under 18/6 light. If its male I usually grow it out for pollen and if its female when it looks like a healthy veg I will spray it with CS then back to 12/12to make female pollen. I only pop a few (3) regs at a time, if you pop several I think its probably faster to just just flip the lights in your grow area and do them all at once, but be careful they can fool you if you make the call too soon.

I'm just doing research right now. I'm very interested in the process. I just don't know if I have the patience for it. I appreciate the info. I'll need all the help I can get.

there is a test that you can get that will tell you... saw it on youtube somewhere...may have been Vader OG...just saw it recently and he pretty much all I looked @ recently...

Actually I got my grow style from him...but yea he said it was a pain in the ass...
but as a hard core breeder he doesn't mind...

yea man since you were using a flood table I wanted you to see that video...or I was thinking thats what you were doing...anything that will absorb will work I use #5 fabric pots...as you can see he uses smaller containers than I do..check out some of his stuff!

I usually grow only regs, just because I've been doin it for many years. Back in the day regs was all there was. I germ seed then put them under 18/6 (T-5's) for 3-4 weeks. Then switch to 12/12 until I can see any pistils or stamens. I am very thorough with this step, using a loop to see better. Males are usually first to show. They are tossed, and females are put back under 18/6 for a few weeks . The key is to catch the reproductive growth EARLY, so the plant doesn't have time to fully start flowering. This whole process takes about 5-6 weeks so plan accordingly. Happy sexing

I checked the vid out, and I will say the dude has got it down ! I wish they would have explained in a little more detail, the sexing procedure that was done. Those were some big ass plants too ! Thanks for the post. Happy growin
