CO2 question

i have this co2 meter and when i blow air in the holes it goes up to 6000 and when i put the pipe coming from the co2 tank its showing nothing. im so fucking confused please help

    • Might want to try another cylinder of CO2. Even if that tank was air you should still see something. If the new cylinder reads then you have a bad cylinder, if it doesn't  might want to check that meter out closer. You're right something is off there.

        • so if I am seeing right there is a bubbler there on the side and the gauges look like there is pressure.

          Is there a valve on the bubbler that needs to open? seems there should be gas percolating through that, but why ? other than flow control? I have not seen any setup like that. most guys use biologics to produce low level co2 from above the canopy. or massive tank and sealed room jobs. Like to know how this works out.

        • Take the gauge off the tank. Crack the tank open, listen for escaping high pressure air. If you have gas in the tank, is the tank on a timer? Is the timer on, or off when you check level? Using a regulator? Pinched line?

           The tank is least likely to be the problem. Either it has gas in it, or it doesn't.

          My first guess is the meter. Any way to calibrate it? 

          A pic or two of the CO2 setup might help, too.
