after a clone takes root can I switch to 12/12 ?

Obviously you get a bigger plant if you wait but for a SOG its common to flip early. Actually if you want to you can flip to 12/12 before it roots.

i done a grow like that bout a year ago it waz killer i am going 2 do a nother will b taking cutting 2 nite as soon as i c roots 12/12 will post as it goes ... 2 cents

once you have good roots poking out you have a fully mature plant and can go to 12/12 anytime you like. but its nice if you can give it at least a few days to veg out for a bit

cool thanks ya'll it's been growing the new roots for 2 weeks and they look good and healthy.
