What Nutrients and Supplements are in Rain?

I know this is kind of a dumb question, I think the earth was green long before general hydroponics went to business but..

Its been raining a lot lately seems like it mostly on my scheduled feed dates and I don't want to over water in soil or that is what I am told, but I would sure like to get some flowering nutrients to outside plants for a nice finish in Sept.

Should I water with feed anyway or wait until they dry out a bit more, its not soupy but they dont pass the knuckle test for to dry

They look good but they seem to grow a lot slower in soil than in hydro.

    •  I Was having the same problem here this year.  Just to much rain, to many days in a row.     I Used  a good Top Dressing of worm castings.  That seemed to do the trick, without adding more water to the mix.

      • Worm castings have a lot of N in them right?

        • Yes it does....  I see now, that you are wanting to get some flowering nutes in.        It is finally drying out here , after what I call monsoon season.  I think you could add some anyways.  I went out to check the girls after about 8-9 days of pounding rain,  and all they did was Grow!!    Good luck on your OD grow!!

        • It was worse 2 years ago, people all over the country were losing buds to bud rot, That sent a lot of us back inside.

            • Smiley's on the right track CPW . Find a granular bloom fert, like a 4-8-8, add a couple tablespoons around the base of the plant and aerify with a probe of some type. A good aerifying will also help the plant breathe and dry out. If it doesn't rain for a few days, water in the fert when needed. This can be done every 2-3 weeks during flower. BTW... you can add liquid bloom boosters too, like Kool Bloom, Bloombastic, or whatever you use.

              • That is what I was thinking of trying, I have dry nutes from Jacks  I just wasnt sure if top feeding dry would be the same as dissolving it. I am feeding these plants less than I have ever feed any of my plants and they are doing great.

              • "Less is Best" If you're talkin about Jacks water soluble, dry blue stuff, that's not for dry applications. Be careful .

                  • That’s true, in Los Angles the rain will take the paint off your car

                    • Maybe its the smog/acid combo along with the light sandblasting they get everyday,
