You always have the right to defend yourself and  property, no matter what restrictions are in place.  Hence I would cop a charge if I discharged outside my private property . We have the castle doctrine here in N.C. I love it. No more running away lol. Stand your ground!. Those dogs were savages, if they will do that to a big goat I have no doubt when the prey drive in those dogs are in effect I am a target as well. I blame the owners I sure would like to put some heat in them as well lol

When the deputy seen the video footage from the churches security cameras that was when the decision was made to allow us to shoot the dogs. These dogs have done this a lot. The pushed the Billie in a corner of the fence and both dogs went for the chest and throat. Defiantly not a leg dog. The pregnant nanny was out of the video area.

have a good one Bluemm!

    • Hate to ask, as it's kinda off topic, BUT...

How are you allowed to keep livestock inside city limits?

Not sure of your locale, but over here in Raleigh they only allow chickens (Not even Roosters are allowed!)

      Are you zoned RA??

      Just curious.

      • We are allowed goats and chickens and swine and peafowl. We also have a permit which classifies them as domestic pets. lol got to love laws and politics. Pay to play. It is all about the money. The property was zoned way back in the 60's as well.
