Comment to 'Do you wet trim or dry trim?'
  • I dry trimmed badly for years then I got the bowl trimmer and started wet trimming. Then I got to thinking maybe I was loosing something by cutting the buds off the stems and wet trimming so last grow I did 50/50 dry and wet trimming in the bowl trimmer and there was no difference. I may try it again with this batch of clones from the previous grow for the hell of it.

What does make a difference is a 3 to 12 month cure verses 6 weeks.

Anyway hats off to dry trimers, that is a freaking art.

    • I smoked some of my raspberry cough that has been in cure for almost 4 months now.  It has a completely different and smoother taste than at the 6 week mark.  In my mind its worth the extra time to make that good good!!  I just use the scissors but trim wet and dry, trying to leave some leaves on there to slow the drying process some.  Then when transferring from the drying box to the cure buckets I will give it another trim and typically remove the smaller buds from the main stems.
