Got your answer here.  I make compost teas and I only use RAIN WATER.  Inside and out.  Have a couple rain barrels.  I have made banana teas come flower time and they seemed pretty happy.  I don’t ever defo . Only if I see branch’s laying on top of each other with no air space what so ever.     This year,   I’m going to try alittle   LST.  Only to TRY a to keep them wider rather than taller.  Had just 1 plant get hit twice in a major wind storm and split her in every direction.  She wasn’t pretty and had more duct tape than Home Depot!!!  But boy did she pull some weight.  Talk about high stress.....  Definitely trying some bamboo steaks this year and with any luck I’ll be trimmin .
