When I first started growing in coco I had the same problems with a ton of conflicting information. It took me a few grows to dial it in. I target 6.0, I don't sweat it if I am around 5.8 but I really don't like going over 6.0. I switched over to coco loco and doing the same thing with the ph and it is working well.
