I honestly will be completely guessing but if this plant had the funny leaves early on it is possible that it is just a genetic mutation. If you see the discoloration in emerging leaves I would just ride it out but if you see it develops in mature leaves then it may be some kind of virus. I think a virus would be a little unusual unless you have a bunch of plants going all the time in more stressed conditions or if you have brought in clones that could have had something.
