  • The autopots are aerated in the base so my tanks are pretty much sitting except once a day or so to check levels. 

    tank aeration in autopots slimes up the lines and  makes them useless, so less or none is better. I started with a small circ pump in the tanks, but it only heated the water and increased the slime factor! Not to mention increasing ppm by evaporation. so no motors or air pumps.

    now switching to super soil and water makes it even easier. no fuss, no muss, just water mostly. haven't succeeded with it yet, but I am optimistic

      • Just Fox Farm, Happy Frog, then Ocean Forest. I hand feed kinda primative but I have a 5 gal bucket I use with 1/4" water line which is gravity fed. This is the firs time watering this way wanted to try something new I love the flow that comes out I think its perfect for a nice root soaking, just need to remember to stir constantly or nutrients and especially microenzyme powder clump at bottom
