Agreed with under powered, you have to calculate the true wattage that is the actual watts it's drawing from the wall I like around 50 watts per sq ft but if I could I would go to 60.

While researching for new lights, I read that good LEDs replace HPS at 60%.
Rule of thumb for HPS was always 60 watts/ sq ft. 60% of that would be 36 watts. Push it to 40 or so, but 55 puts you in HPS territory!

Anyway finnally changed my mind to help with summer heat stress as i don't have that much money to invest actually.
i decided to keep my HPS 250W and invested in:
- Reflector XTRA-COOL V2 125MM glass ventilated type cooltube
- PLATINIUM Nutrients - Box of 60 CO2 TABS tablets
from my research around the net the cooltubed reflector may help reduce heat from 3°C to 7°C and CO2 tabs with each watering should help the plant handle more heat.
(Another benefit of a CO₂-rich grow op is that cannabis plants can tolerate slightly hotter temps. Instead of religious dedication to ensuring temps never exceed 28°C with the right CO₂ ppm marijuana can still thrive in the 28-33°C temperature range. In fact, weed prefers slightly higher temps in a CO₂ rich environment.

Also someone hilighted me that viparspectra P2000 had less red in her spectrum than some other brand, and so on might be more optimum for vegetation than flowering.0 0 0 0 0 0 0
