I have only grown autos a couple of times but I did find that backing off of the nutrients does make for a more successful grow. The ocean forest is a pretty hot soil to begin with and if you follow the fox farm feeding schedule you can really nuke your plants. Even with my photos I am around half strength with my nutrients, now I have nutrients in every watering but in much lower quantities. It seems to work well for me. Try flushing your plants and then back off and see if they recover.
