Are you looking at the trichs on the sugar leaves or the calyx? The trichomes on the sugar leaves will turn a few weeks before the trichs on the Calyx turn.

I think everyone growing outside feels your pain for bud rot, I sure do, 3 Lemon OG Hazes were trashed from bud rot, but they were just autos, the one that hurt me was Mandarin Cookies that I harvested early and tossed about a 3rd of the bud because of rot and I swear it happened over night.

  Yes it does happen overnight,My Acapulco Gold were fine one day and bud rot the next day.

  It sucks for sure. Did you salvage any of the Acapulco Gold? I am wondering how that compares to the stuff we smoked back in the 70's? My guess is it has been crossbred so many times there is much of the original genes still in it. I suppose that is ok because I killed all the brain cells that would have rmembered anyway
