Different strains will uptake silica differently would be my guess if you asked the same question and not used any silica I would be more dumbfounded.
The leaves on the Rainbow Kush are huge so maybe that has something to do with it or maybe it just needs more silica? I thought silica was just to harden the outer skin so I wonder what fills in the middles?
