I HAD A IDEA TODAY
I have a few plants growin ID, they're on day 50 of flower (12/12). I have been wanting to experiment and see what happens to buds when you turn the photoperiod back up to 18/6, for the last 2 weeks of flower? Read about it, and sounded interesting. So I came up with this idea !!!! I was high when I thought of it...he,he,he but I LIKELY ! Here it is !! Harvest the main buds, WHEN THEY'RE READY, and leave the bottom buds to run at the 18/6 photoperiod .. theory on this BTW is, the plants will start to grow more vigorously when turned back to 18/6, thus increasing production of whatever the plants are currently producing, which should be resin, THC, and whatever else is fun, and good ! We'll see !!! Pic is of ID plants at day 40 .

@ Tex the pic is of buds still growin on day 40 .They are now on day 50. Haven't harvested yet, they will hopefully be done in a couple more weeks. @ CPW for reveg it will take at least 2-3 weeks, and stress wise I have no idea what the plant will do. Thus the experiment. I don't flush so that won't be a prob . Mostly an organic grow .

sometimes to much thinkin gets ya in trouble..lol..but this is a good question..it will prolly try to start re-vegging ...not sure if it will make the rest of the buds loose some potency tho...once the trics are there i dont think they will go away...ive done the method a lotta times where ya chop the top big cola's ect what ever ya want from up above and leave lower parts sill under 12/12 and those lower nugz will really bulk up over 2 er 3 more weeks since they gettin more light..GL

It’ll just go back into veg mode man but the vigor will improve, Canuck on YouTube took a clone from a flowering plant an he’s still got it as a mom I think.

I have done that a few times I just havent changed the light schedule when I did it

A little late gettin back, but after 2 weeks under 18/6, after harvesting the main colas, no real noticeable difference. No reveg either.
