little experiment with S1/R1 seeds

thoose are R1/S1 seeds from my last grow, gonna launch 5 to 10 of them, to verify what kind of ratio is it be expected for them to be hermaphrodite too, sad thing is i have no way to differentiate Selfed seeds from Reversed seeds. So might not be the best accurate result ever but at least to get a rough idea.

S1 should have higher chance of being hermaphrodite and R1 may have lower chance of being hermaphrodism due to the fact i had only one plant that pollinated the others that werent hermaphrodite so with R1 only one of the parents have the hermaphrodism trait

    • yeah thats gonna be a tuff one Vince!.. when i do stuff like that i separate em in diff little 2 x 2  ziplock bags and label them

      • yeah that what i should have done, but old habits are strong i usually don't sort phenotype from the same strain into different jar at the time of harvest, result is now i have no way to know if a seeds if from the S1 or one of the seven others R1

      • So those are from a stress induced hermied mother or a chemically induced mother? Was there a Male plant or where did the R1 come from?

        If it did that on its own, its not worth the time and effort for me to find out if the new seeds will do the same thing

        • yeah only one male out of eight plant. Dunno why she hermied, genetic or little environnemental stress

            • Not to sound  discoursing but if they come from a hermi they will probably do the same thing as the mother but there is only one way to find out.
