BD auto

Having little problem these BD auto almost ready 60days in.  I started them in 2inch net pots that's what I usually use on autos because they done so quick but that was with smaller indicas these are mostly sativa and are 37inches tall so I have them in rockwool 1inch cubes in 2 inch net pot with clay pebbles on top.  Here the roots are nice and lo g on bottom and pretty healthy but problems are they are on drip system and are not drawing right because roots on top are growing up and are in top of 2 inch net pot so what can I do?  I slowed drip down but still not draining right because roots on tip clogging.  I don't want to transplant now because they will be done soon.  Next time will use bigger net pots.  But that does not help me in this grow.  Should I try to cut away those pesky top roots?  What else can I do transplant  is out to late for that.
