A Fem Seed Making Observation

I cut a clone off a Chocolate Haze plant and did the colloidal silver thing to make some fem seeds. In the same tent I had a regular male plant I was growing to back cross to its sister. A little over a week ago I noticed some seed pods on top branches but no male flowers until today I noticed some flower pods starting to form. I pulled the plant and cut off all the lower branches I CS'd off and I will let it finish without pollenating anything but the lesson here is the female flowers accepted pollen from a male plant about 2 weeks before it started to form male flowers. Nothing about growing is really carved in stone but it seems like if your going to make fem seeds you should put that plant in flower a week or 2 before the intended mother.

I have used CS to make a plant pollenate itself but it did take longer to make viable seeds than in did smokable bud
