Insecticides
Does anyone have recomendations on insecticides?
There seems to be a few types out there. There's Lost Coast, trifecta a couple others.
Would love to hear what you guys use, things that are worthless or to avoid.
Going to get them before they kill my girl outside this year.

I use Carbaryl (7), Malathion, and Azamax at 1/2 rate, with a little Dawn early in veg. A couple sprays and the bugs stay away. I don't spray after June 30.

when i grew aeroponic vegetables for a family at their house i used Azamax by GH you can use it systemically or as a foiliar spray but it tends to clog spray bottles so you dont need much. certainly not full strength. id use it with a drop of dawn dish soap. the insturctions for use are also vague. it works the same on insects as it does on plants. it clogs cells and suffocates the organism. So if you use too much you can kill a plant, but you know that.
You can also do the same thing with vegetable oil and dish soap. the thing about it is you will need to apply it more than once.
I grew indoors so outdoors growing is probably a whole 'nother ballgame

Before spraying anything on your outdoor grow you absolutely have to identify what you are targeting. I consistently have success with praying mantis and ladybugs. If those aren't available a fine but strong mist of water (ie thumb over the hose end) knocks off aphids without much trouble at all. Make sure to direct spray at undersides of leaves as well. Basically everywhere you see them. Outdoor chickens are fantastic for insect control as well
