Now Im Gonna Start Next Project...
Yesterday I Put Seeds In Moist Paper Towels / Baggies...
In This Project Im Doin Several Diff Things....
Im Using Strains I Made Mixed With A Nirvana Ice Male That I Re-Vegged A Couple Yrs Ago
Because I Liked The Way It Showed Its Sex Fast When I Sexed It Out...
So I Mixed It With Several Strains....

Papaya (Nirvana) x Ice

Nichole Bananna OG (nirvana) x Ice

Also another thing im gonna try this time is im gonna veg em from day one on 20/4 light...
And in maybe like 3 weeks later or so i gonna flip to 18/6...and see if they will go into bloom..
They shud cos goin from 20/4 to 18/6 is a sudden light time change and kick em into bloom stage..
Out in nature the plants start to go into bloom stage when days start getting shorter on june 21st as everyone knows..
So i will toss any males i see, cos im not gonna be makin any seeds this round...
And if they do start to bloom, i wanna see if 18 hrs of bloom makes any diff than 12/12 as to how fast they finish or
if they get bigger buds ect...
And im growing them in 1 quart size containers - Sea Of Green kinda grow
And they shud just be like a short all bud plant with the shorter veg time plus the stretch in bloom
I shud get a nice jar of stash off each strain mix..hope hope...
This is only a test...lol

I have to agree with Rick and I also think if you can hit the DLI targets with 12/12 why leave the lights on longer and pay for more electric? That said please keep us informed on how that goes, I eat my words a couple times a day and they dont taste too bad. lol. The Unknown + Spartan Kush is a killer smoke without any cure.
I have to say there is something pretty cool about seeing seeds you made pop and grow isnt there. I hope more folks get into it. You learn a lot about a strain with repeat grows so if a person can perfect a cross they made it must be a great high. Pun intended

well i have a small change of plan..on the part of veg at 20/4 and switch to 18/6..since their was some naysayers sayin with out ever having tried it tell me it wouldnt werk, so im not gonna do that to all of the plants..just maybe 2 at the most..so if it dont werk i wont mess em all up...what i plan to do is with the ones i tryna do 18/6, i will lower the light "ON" period 15 minutes less per week so it shuddnt go into reveg cos the day time is gettin shorter as it would out in nature...the main part of the new projects is to just see how those mixes i made with Nirvana Ice terns out like

another update on this project...not even gonna try the 20/4 to 18/6 cos its been to hot and steamy and electric bills thru the roof with the AC and Fans goin a lot this summer...just doin the Nirvana Strains x Nirvana Ice mixes....will try the other part this winter...also have the GPS Daiquiri in 2 x 2 scrog under 600W vipar

I am going to sex some plants by cutting clones, I could root them under 20/4 and then drop it 18/6 and look for signs of flower.
