(https://www.growweedeasy.com is better if anyone sees this) Yes I was recommended the site some days ago, I have read some. I learned that the papertowel in a bag was not for everyone due to difference in quality of paper towels. My paper towels just get all weird, cant be right. I have tried many times with other seeds so this is nothing new.

But I am hoping to improve my results for sure! My first grow was like this

    • when i use the paper towel method i take one section of paper towel and fold it over a few times to make it like  maybe 3 inchs by 4 or 5 inchs and fold it over in half one more time and go to sink andand make the faucet water come out in the smallest drizzle as i can run the paper towel under it several times to just make it moist..Not dripping wet...then i reopen the towel an stick the seeds in and close towel back up and put in one the small samich bags with the fold over flap an put in dry warm spot..it wont werk very well with a single  sheet of paper towel

      • Ok, this makes good sense. I also make the towels way to wet, beyond dripping. I will train some more :-)

This drawing from Grow weed easy shows a single fold. I like the plates though, makes sure there is air coming in. I would just prefer some other medium than the paper. But I will try again when I get my new seeds.

With my currently ongoing " the great 100 seed experiment"  with my very old seeds, its just some water in a ash tray. There is not enough water to drown the seeds. It seem to work. Not sure if it is better or advisable, but it does seem to work.

      • Good news everyone!

I have made solid progress with the paper towel method. Less water, and I use a small food container instead of a zip lock bag. I make a thicker "mattress" and a thick "blanket" now.

Very happy with the results and the usuability of this method.
