Ok. There is a little much room between the nodes, I'll  give Jim that. But couldn't the stretching be from any number of possible reasons? Wrong spectrum of light during veg, light too far away, accidental neglect. I know on more then one time I had plants veging and I was basically  was just feeding/ watering. There will be plenty of time for training under the trellis. Forget about it!
