I rub a tiny dose of great white on the peat pod I use to germinate. Then I put 1/4 of a scoop in the nutrient solution at growth phase changes after a fresh water flush. I can look at my roots, so If I don't see a lot of side "fingers", I might give a tiny sprinkle during veg.
