Since I started using premixed Coco/Perlite I haven't done any treatment but I usually wet it down with Cal/Mag and Tribus or Orca PH'd to 6.0. I have a auto watering setup and it waters 2-4 times a day, and I do the same on the Ebb & Flow. The Ebb & Flow seems to give me a little more growth but that may be my imagination
