I do that every grow now, I dont know about higher THC but I have noticed the buds get bigger and the branches are much stronger. I first noticed it when I grew 2 Papaya plants, one was in a 2 X 3 SCROG and the other was a 7 cola mainline that I super cropped early, the mainline had over 1-1/4 times the yield of the SCROG. The kushman chiropractic technique helps too.
