Comment to 'autoflower can I make them shorter than feminized???'
  • 1.  Generally, all of my autos have stayed shorter than the photos I've grown. I don't think autos stretch as much as photos. But if you're searching for that single cola plant, I don't think you're gonna find that in autos.

    2. If you grow autos, your light schedule can be anywhere from 12/12, to 24/7, all up to you.

    3. Same nutes, just a little less of them, in general. I have had heavy feeding autos, but most like it lighter. No, the product will not be as strong as it's photo counterpart. That 5% Ruderalis does have an effect, and a lot of times it's slightly lower THC.

    4. If you prefer less yield, that's good. But only if you don't add the "better nuggs" part. And, instead of tall plants, you may end up with short VERY bushy ones. So, if you don't like trimming, maybe autos aren't for you.

    5. Whatever the breeder says, you can usually add at least 2 weeks, if not a month to that. Not necessarily a bad thing, because the plants are bulking up in that extra time.
