Not dying. It looks really weird, even weirder than on the picture I say, but there are new leaves on the way and the upper part of the stem looks strengthened. 

i thought u added perlite to ur soil! or was that a diff plant..it needs perlite for sure..add it to all ur plants and dont over water like others sed... GL

I spent all my perlite on my main plant. I have a new bag of soil, same brand but with perlite added that I will use when I repot. I dont think it is overwatered, the pot was quite light when I added a splash of water.
