Not to sound like a SCROG Nazi but a true SCROG is topped once or twice and those 2 or 4 mains and the branches coming off those mains get woven or tied down into the net and all the branches under the net other than the mains are removed.

That said, its your seed, so grow it how every you want, but I think if your using the net for support you may be missing out on some of the benefit of having everything running through the mains..
