1/4" to 1/2" of sifted sand on top and a couple sticky traps. The sand keeps them from entering and laying eggs or as juveniles exiting.

So we have some sand for a playground. It's been sterilized, washed, dried and screened. Would this be ok to use or do I need to find a silica sand to avoid any salt?
