It all depends on your temps and RH. Temps in the 70's will be a little quicker than temps in the 60's. I think there are a few more variables too. I like Sub's take on it !!
My garage stays in the 60's most of the time then in winter it gets really cold in there
if its still moist and sticky like cotton candy, its not dry yet.
put that into a jar and the moisture will lead to mold and the infamous ammonia smell
